By using this website, you are agreeing to the terms by us at Deborah Murdoch.

ORDERING ONLINE

Payments online will be requested through Shopify Payment using debit card or credit card or via Bank Transfer (only available in the United Kingdom).

When a payment has been taken you will receive an email confirming your order has been placed. If you are struggling to pay online please contact us directly and we can process your order over a phone call or an email.

SALES AND RETURNS

We hope that you will be absolutely delighted with your jewellery from us at Deborah Murdoch Jewellery. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to offer an exchange or credit note within 14 days of receipt. All pieces of jewellery are made to order. No returns for custom/bespoke pieces.

All jewellery returned must be unworn, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging within 14 days of your receipt of the order. The customer must pay the return postage cost of the jewellery. If you do wish to return an item, please contact us for further details - studio@deborahmurdoch.com

We are unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of returned goods and therefore recommend that jewellery be sent fully insured, tracked & signed delivery. Please note that the cost of shipping is not refundable.

If there is an agreed exchange, the customer is liable for any return postage / shipping costs back to them.

To return an online purchase, please contact studio@deborahmurdoch.com for further details. Please include your order number in the email.

Deborah Murdoch Studio does not accept any responsibility for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These responsibilities are those of the customer. We recommend that UK items be sent by insured special delivery, and international items be sent using a secure and swift fully tracked service. Please note that the cost of shipping is not refundable.

If you are not based in the UK and would like to return an item, please note that a customs declaration form will be required on shipping. The goods will need to be correctly detailed as ‘RETURNED BRITISH GOODS’ in order to ensure that no additional customs fees are incurred on re-import to the UK. In the instance that an item is incorrectly marked and a customs fee is incurred, this may be passed onto the customer. This may also delay the returns process.

Outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise.

SIZING

Please make sure to provide us with the correct ring size when placing your order.
If the wrong size is given on bespoke ring orders and the customer wants to have the ring resized, the customer will be liable to pay £250 re-making fee.

REPAIRS + RECONDITIONING

At Deborah Murdoch we make sure quality is our number one priority but if you feel your piece has a structural fault, please return it to us for a full inspection. We assess repairs on a case-by-case basis. We are committed to making our customers happy so please contact us as soon as possible if you experience any issues with your purchase.

ONE OF A KIND

Each product is handcrafted and therefore unique and small variations will occur resulting in slight differences from any photographs or items in stock. Stone and metal colours may vary and sizes are accurate within reason. We are also aware that variations in monitor, browser or software calibrations on your browsing device may cause variations in image and colour of items shown digitally, for which we cannot accept responsibility.

DIAMONDS, STONES & GOLD

We are committed to sourcing all materials in an ethical and sustainable manner. We deal with reputable stone suppliers. All precious stones are sourced in the most ethical and environmentally responsible manner.

Our gold for our new collection of Jewellery comes from our independent suppliers who have assured us that it is of Single Mine Origin (SMO) Gold.

Design Rights and Copyrights remain the sole property of Deborah Murdoch. Prices are correct at the time of publication. We at Deborah Murdoch reserves the right to review prices at any time.

This privacy policy sets out how Deborah Murdoch uses and protects any information that you give when you use this website. Deborah Murdoch is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Deborah Murdoch may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

We register your details through our website sales and subscription to our newsletter. Your name, email address and postal address will be the information we save and will only be used to send you information about our company. We will not disclose any personal information to third parties. You may opt out of receiving mailings from Deborah Murdoch by choosing to unsubscribe.
